2 bettors split P1.2-billion 6/58 Ultra Lotto jackpot

MANILA – The chase for the more than a billion pesos worth of jackpot has come to an end.

Two bettors guessed the right number combination for the 6/58 Ultra Lotto game on Sunday evening.

Picking the winning combination 40-50-37-25-1-45, they will equally split the jackpot prize of P1,180,622,508, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said.

But the jackpot prize is still subject to a 20-percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law.

The 6/58 Ultra Lotto jackpot reached the current amount since two bettors won and shared the P331.9-million jackpot on Feb. 16.

The PCSO-authorized numbers game is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
