AirSWIFT launches direct flights between Manila, Sicogon

AirSWIFT is now flying from Manila to Sicogon and vice versa.

Sicogon is one of the famous islands in the town of Carles, which is located about 145 kilometers from Iloilo City.

AirSWIFT, an Ayala-owned airline, inaugurated its first direct commercial flight to Sicogon on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Its 50-seater Turbo Prop plane operates three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday) with a one-way rate of about P4,000.

The newly reopened airport on the 1,100-hectare island is part of the P10-billion Sicogon Island Tourism Estate project of Ayala Land, Inc (ALI).

ALI acquired Sicogon Island in 2013.
