Bomb scare hits SanAg; no bomb found

The University of San Agustin (USA) in Iloilo City was negative from any explosive device, according to Superintendent Jonathan Pablito, Iloilo City Police Station 1 commander.
USA received a bomb threat sent through its official Facebook account by a certain Felix Tan at around 4:05 p.m on Wednesday, Oct. 3.
The school administration immediately reported the threat to authorities to ensure the safety of its students and employees.
Elements of the Explosive Ordnance Division (EOD) of the Police Regional Office (PRO-6) conducted a paneling operation at 5:15 p.m.
After the operation, no explosives were found inside the school.
The school was declared safe at 5:45 p.m.
Classes at USA were suspended.
