MANILA, Philippines— Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat on Wednesday said she is keeping the tourism slogan “It’s more fun in the Philippines.”
“The reason why I’m keeping the slogan is because I want more continuity,” Puyat said in an interview with ANC’s Headstart.
Puyat lamented why the Philippines often changes its slogan in each administration.
For Puyat, the “It’s more fun in the Philippines” campaign launched in 2012 by the Department of Tourism and BBDO Guerrero, one of the country’s most awarded advertising firms, works.
“Why change something that works?” she added.
In June 2017, DOT under the leadership of resigned Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo also made a clarification that it is keeping the slogan launched by the previous administration.
