Over 10,000 local residents in Iloilo City availed themselves of free medical check-up and medicines under the “Pag-ulikid” program of Mayor Jose Espinosa III.

Espinosa provided disabled citizens with wheelchairs to give them the mobility they need. Vitamins were also distributed to improve the health among poor people.

“Scores of cats and dogs were neutered and vaccinated keeping the barangays free from deadly rabies. Headaches of many on their legal papers were given solutions by the City Legal office and those who have problems with Civil Registry were also given relief by fixing the mistakes of their birth certificates,” the city mayor said.

The City Engineers Office likewise addressed infrastructure issues of barangays.

Pag-ulikid also allowed seniors to renew their senior citizen identification card and donated sports equipment to promote healthy lifestyles in communities.
