Lawyer of Odicta family shot dead

A lawyer of the Odicta family, whose members were allegedly involved in illegal drugs, was shot dead in Roxas City, Capiz Friday afternoon.

The victim, identified as Atty. Ediljulio Romero, was killed by “three unidentified suspects”, according to the Police Regional Office (PRO-6).

Based on the initial investigation, Romero sustained a gunshot wound on the back of his head.

PRO-6 Director Chief Superintendent John Bulalacao said Romero is a “high value target level 3 (HVT 3).”

Hot pursuit operations are still ongoing against the suspects.
