Leganes mayor passes away

ILOILO City – Mayor Adolfo Jaen of Leganes, Iloilo has died.
The octogenarian mayor expired last night in a hospital in Iloilo City while being treated for a lingering illness.
Pavia, Iloilo’s Mayor Michael Gorriceta, a friend of Jaen, said he was informed by a nephew of the Leganes mayor, Sangguniang Bayan member Jun-jun Jaen.
A lawyer, Mayor Jaen served Leganes for several terms.
