The Police Regional Office (PRO-6) has warned that it would enforce “full force of the law” against those behind the series of hoax bomb threats in Iloilo City.
“Marami na silang naiistorbo. Pati ako indi na masyado maganda iniisip ko sa mga luko-lukong na nagbo-bomb scare na yan,” PRO-6 Director Chief Superintendent John Bulalacao said on Thursday.
The PRO-6 is determined to know individuals or groups spreading the bomb hoaxes.
“Sa oras na malaman namin kung sino ang may kagagawan ng bomb scare, I will not hesitate to enforce full force of the law,” Bulalacao said.
This morning, the University of San Agustin (USA) was hit by a bomb threat.
The school received the threat via Facebook. It was sent by an account named “Abdalmalek Al-ahdal.”
Superintendent Jonathan Pablito, Iloilo City Police Station 1 commander said no explosives were found inside the school.
Yesterday, USA also suspended its classes due to a bomb scare.
Last Tuesday, an improvised explosive device (IED) was found near Gate 2 of Ateneo de Iloilo – Santa Maria Catholic School (ADI-SMCS) in Mandurriao district.
