The eight members of the Board of Directors are Jerry T. Tuares of Tigbauan (38 votes), Edna D. Miane of Carles (38 votes), Ferdinand E. Esmeralda of Igbaras (36 votes), Lyka Joy Debuque-Gelle of Anilao (36 votes), Sancho S. Navarro Jr. of Estancia (35 votes), Domingo L. Alarba of San Enrique (35 votes), Lorenzo C. Puda of Pototan (34 votes), and Sebastian A. Salcedo of Alimodian (34 votes).

Newly elected Liga ng mga Barangay-Iloilo federation president Dorothy Paes got the support of 40 of the 42 fellow village chiefs who joined their elections on July 30, 2018.

Paes, the punong barangay of Balabag, Dumangas, will sit as an ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan after winning the Liga presidency unopposed.

Also elected into the Liga leadership are Neptali C. Salcedo Jr. of Sara as vice president with 40 votes and Andres T. Bedro Jr. of Balasan as auditor with 41 votes.

All of them took their oaths late this afternoon, at Tatoy’s Manokan, Iloilo Airport area, before Hon. Ferj Biron, District Representative Iloilo, 4th District. House of Representatives.
