‘Red Subay’ is new STL operator in Iloilo province

There is now a new operator of the Small Town Lottery (STL) in the province of Ilolio.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) chose Red Subay Gaming Corporation as the province’s official STL operator.

Janette Lloyd, PCSO-Iloilo general manager, said a resolution authorizing Red Subay to operate was already approved.

Lawyer Romel Duron, the gaming firm’s legal counsel, said they are currently processing the necessary documents required by the PCSO.

Under the agreement, according to Duron, Red Subay is obliged to remit P111 million every month to the PCSO as well as to the provincial government.

Red Subay is expected to start its operations in September this year.

Duron said they are eyeing to put up their draw center in the town of Sta. Barbara.

“We are also hiring personnel,” he added.

Red Subay will replace Eagle-Crest Gaming Corporation. The latter’s operation was stopped by the PCSO last May for failing to pay and remit its Presumptive Monthly Retail Receipt (PMRR).

PMRR is “the amount determined by PCSO as the presumed minimum monthly sales of an ACC (Authorized Agent Corporation)” or a company authorized by PCSO to “conduct STL [operations] in a particular area.”
