SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon Queenie was located based on all available data at 875 km East of Basco, Batanes (19.6N, 130.3E) with maximum sustained winds of 200 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 245 km/h. Moving Northwest at 20 km/h.

FORECAST: Central and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm caused by the trough of TY Queenie. Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Strong to gale force wind from the North to Northwest will prevail over Eastern Visayas with rough to very rough seas. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the West to Southwest will prevail over the rest of Visayas with moderate to rough seas. Light to moderate winds over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro with slight to moderate seas.
