SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the eye of TYPHOON "PAENG" was located at 680 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes (24.6°N, 126.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 160 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 195 km/h. It is moving North Northwest at 15kph.

FORECAST: Visayas, Palawan and Occidental Mindoro will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over the Eastern section Visayas, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Light to moderate winds blowing from the West to Southwest will prevail over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and the rest of Visayas with slight to moderate seas.
