SYNOPSIS: The trough of tropical cyclone (Tropical Storm “Kong-Rey”) outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) is affecting Eastern Visayas.

FORECAST: Eastern Visayas will experience mostly cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and the of rest Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over the Eastern section Visayas, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. While, light to moderate winds blowing from the Southwest will prevail over Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and the rest of Visayas with slight to moderate seas.
