TROPICAL CYCLONE: ALERT ISSUED AT 11:00 AM, 07 August 2018 (Valid for broadcast until the next bulletin to be issued at 11 PM today)
THE LOW PRESSURE AREA EAST OF APARRI, CAGAYAN HAS DEVELOPED INTO A TROPICAL DEPRESSION AND WAS NAMED #KardingPH.

•#KardingPH is not expected to make landfall in any part of the country. •Meanwhile, at 10:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 420 km West of Subic, Zambales (14.8°N,116.4°E). •The Tropical Depression and the LPA may enhance the Southwest Monsoon, which would bring scattered moderate to at times heavy rains over Northern Luzon and the western section of Central Luzon starting Friday (10 August).
Location of eye/center At 10:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression #KardingPH was estimated based on all available data at 1,220 km East of Calayan, Cagayan(19.2°N, 133.1°E). Strength Maximum winds of up to 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h. Forecast Movement Moving Almost Stationary.
