University of San Agustin is top performing school in MedTech board exam

The University of San Agustin (USA) in Iloilo City was among the top performing schools in the September 2018 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination.

USA posted a 100 percent passing rate. This meant that all 141 examinees from the school passed the board exam.

Velez College, Trinity University of Asia, Saint Louis University, and Cebu Doctors’ University also got a passing rate of 100 percent.

Eldy Villanoy Barrientos and Justin Albert Gamboa Escamilla of USA ranked 3rd and 9th, respectively, among the Top 10 passers.

Barrientos registered a rating of 91.70 percent while Escamilla had a percentage score of 89.80 percent.

The results of the board exam was released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, Sept. 26.

A total of 4,718 out of 6,070 passed the exam conducted on September 22 and 23 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena and Tuguegarao.
